God has blessed our family more than we ever expected, and so much more than we deserve! He has given us 3 beautiful blond haired girls by birth and 2 more boys, and 1 more daughter through the blessing of adoption. So very, very blessed!

Sparkly

Last night was parent teacher conferences  Grace had to be at hers because in 5th Grade the parent teacher conferences are student led. So she tagged along with me. It was a bit of a boost of confidence as I went from teacher to teacher. We started at the Middle School for reports on Faith & David. Every teacher LOVES Faith. They say she is quiet, but very well behaved and helpful to other students. It was funny to go to 7 teachers and hear them use the same phrases time and again. I also talked to 2 of David's teachers. They say he is awesome.

Next it was back to the elementary for 3/4th of the little's conferences  The teachers all love my kids. They think they are great kids, not without struggles, but good kids. How encouraging to hear!

To finish out the night Chad & I decided I would take Grace out. We ended up at Steak and Shake. She is almost 11 and it struck me how grown up she is as she asked, "How was your day at work, mom?" We had a lovely time together. I watched her face as we sat there and the only word I could find to describe her was "sparkly". She just glowed with the one and one attention from me. I am sure you other moms can relate, especially you with big families.

Today it struck me, Am I sparkly when I am face to face with my Heavenly Father? Does the world see my joy evidenced in all I do? There is no doubt I am different when I see his face. He has called me to have face to face time with him everyday. Why do I let myself go without it?
