The Great Room Swap of Twenty-Thirteen

When we moved in last year, the plan was to build Faith a room in the middle basement. However, we knew it would be a bit before we could get to it. Grace & Hope each moved into their own green rooms upstairs and Faith moved into the unpainted room beside Chad & My room that we planned to give to a foster child.

Next thing we knew we had 3 kids moving in! Grace moved in with Faith in the unfinished room, and the boys moved into her green room. Hope stayed in her green room & Joy moved in with her.

Early this year Chad started Faith's room in the middle basement. He did little bits here & there as we had money, and then as we were about to finish up, Chad injured his bicep and that put us a little further behind. But finally last week we got it finished and Faith moved in.

Grace was really anxious to get into her green room again. But before that could happen we had to paint the boy's room. After much deliberation we decided that the boys room would be a hunting theme. David LOVES orange, and Joshua was on board for hunting. So we decided on Hunter Orange walls with Camo curtains & comforters  The curtains are here, but we do not have rods yet, and we still need to order the bedspreads, but we are happy with how it turned out. The boys have so much more space in this room. 

This allowed Grace to move back into her Green room.

I still can't believe I have such bright colors in my house!
