Getting Close to Forever...

Yesterday we got the call that our Adoption Finalization Date is set for March 22nd! I am super excited that we got it for this day, because we had been planning for 2 months to go to the Winter Jam Concert on March 21st. March 21st is the day that Joshua & Joy will have been with us for 6 months, and The 22nd was the first possible day we could finalized, now we will have a big 2 day adoption celebration! Our friends, family, and photographer have all been notified of our court day and it is going to be a great day!

On Monday we got our family pictures that we had taken in December. They got lost for a few months but finally made their way back into our hands. I think they were worth the wait!

It was so funny because I spent a few days organizing outfits, and a few hours of prepping hair the morning of the photos, and then we were there in front of the camera for literally 1 minute! It was Chad's kind of in and out photo shoot. I had to laugh cuz I am used to the many poses & careful attention of the Ordinary Miracles Girls!

Tuesday we got David's new insurance card with his NEW NAME on it!!! Joshua & Joy's have had some struggles in the system but I am told they will come soon. It is so exciting to see things move forward. 

As we look at the present and future with such joy, it is impossible not to look back at where we were last year at this time. Plans were being made to move Angel out of our care. I look at the last year, I know the changes have been great for us, but I am saddened to know that it has not improved things for Angel. I pray God will continue to show Himself to her, as He has proved Himself so faithful to us. 

Only 29 days till we are officially a family of 8!!!
